We’re trying something new this year with our table talk conversations in response to what we’re hearing from nonprofit leaders and the realities of this moment. We know fundraising is hard—and it’s changing. So we’ve partnered with experienced fundraisers to design small group conversations where you can learn from each other, build confidence on how to raise money, and make connections with colleagues. The goal is simple: to help all of us move our missions forward together.
Rethinking Fundraising: Moving Forward Together
Fundraising is entering a new frontier, and nonprofits need to figure out how to continue raising the resources their missions require, in spite of rapidly changing environments.
Fundraising experts Brittany Kirk and Rebecca Zanatta from Cloudbreak Collective will begin with a short “state of fundraising today” to set the stage. Participants will then move into facilitated table conversations designed to help them navigate the biggest shifts impacting fundraising right now.
Each table will focus on a core area of fundraising, such as grants, capital campaigns, individual donors, events, and corporate partnerships. You will have opportunities to explore three major forces shaping the field: generational shifts, policy changes, and emerging technologies. Through guided discussion and practical tools, you will identify actionable steps you can take to adapt your strategies, refine your approaches, and stay effective in a changing landscape.
