2022 Conference

Thank you for a learningful Conference!

From April-June 2022, the Central Washington Conference for the Greater Good convened nonprofit and philanthropic leaders to learn, connect, and build common purpose. The 2022 Conference was delivered in a “deconstructed” manner, integrating keynotes, workshops, conversations, and a celebration.

Every year we ask participants to tell us what difference the Conference had made in their work. You can download the two-page report here.

We invite you to watch this 3-minute video explaining how the Conference worked:

Our focus for this Conference were the issues that nonprofit and philanthropic leaders told us were most of their minds entering 2022. Our speakers and conversation forums explored these topics:

  • New nonprofit models that center sustainability
  • Staffing that is inclusive, appropriately compensated, and transparent in terms of career path
  • Financial strategy that offers full benefits and accounts for full costs
  • Boards that are ready to lead
